Compstall – The Shoot

Located on the borders of the Peak District is the small village of Compstall. Originally developed to cater for the mill, Compstall village is a collection of small factory cottages dating back to the 1800’s. The quaint village boasts the Etherow National Park, with tranquil lakes it made the perfect scenic background to our April photoshoot.
Etherow country park is one of the oldest national parks in England. The landscape was used to photograph our leather backpack and one of our leather duffle bags.
In addition to the beautiful Etherow, Compstall village is home to the disused Compstall Mill. Formerly a corn mill, it closed in the 1930’s and is now lay partially dormant. The industrial decor was perfect to accompany our collection.
